Dr. Kimberly Bridges joined Pulmonary Associates of the Southeast in August 2019. She is a native of Madison, MS. She attended college at Baylor University and then returned to her home state to attend medical school at the University of Mississippi. She completed her internal medicine residency and fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, in 2019. She then moved to Birmingham with her husband, John, who is completing his fellowship training in rheumatology at UAB and Children's of Alabama.
Dr. Bridges is a board certified pulmonologist. Her practice includes general pulmonary and critical care medicine with special interests in advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy, including endobronchial ultrasound and electromagnetic navigation, and caring for patients in the intensive care unit. In her free time, Dr. Bridges enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband (John), son (Oliver), and two dogs.
